Styrofoam city

About 2 hours · Ages 6+ · Styrofoam & Model glue

  1. Cut packing foam into blocks of different heights with a butter knife.
  2. Draw windows and doors with a marker, or stick on card cut-outs.
  3. Spread AHOO Styrofoam glue thinly on both faces and wait one minute.
  4. Press the blocks together and hold for a count of twenty.
  5. Glue the buildings onto a card base and add streets with tape.

Why a deer?

آهو (ahoo) is Farsi for deer. Ours is round, fluffy and permanently annoyed by things that fall apart.

He frowns at wobbly chair legs, peeling shoe soles and model houses that lose their roofs. Give him a job and a tube of glue and the frown almost goes away. Almost.

Which AHOO glues are safe for children?

DIY & Craft and Glue Stick are water-based and made for kids aged 4 and up. Styrofoam & Model is fine from 6 with a grown-up nearby. Super Glue and Shoe & Leather are for adults and teens only.

Does it wash out of clothes?

The kids’ range washes out with warm, soapy water while it is still wet. Once it has dried, soak the fabric first and then wash it as usual.

Why does normal glue melt my styrofoam?

Many strong glues contain solvents that dissolve foam. AHOO Styrofoam & Model glue is made without them, so the foam stays the shape you cut it.

How long until it’s really dry?

Most AHOO glues hold within minutes and reach full strength after 24 hours. Super Glue sets in about ten seconds. Every pack shows its own times.
